Catholic Women Association(CWA)

Intro

We take this opportunity to thank Almighty God for this far we have come as CWA group. Catholic Women Association (CWA) was started in Baba Dogo in 1994 with 30 members by then Baba Dogo was an out- station of Holy Trinity Kariobangi under Fr. Mario .Baba Dogo later became a Parish in 1998 and the 1st Parish Priest was Fr. Moses of OSA and the 30 members moved from Kariobangi to Sacred Heart Baba Dogo. We have witnessed tremendous growth through formation and commissioning and currently we have over 390 members who have already been commissioned at the Archdioceses level.

The Core Values include;

The group’s Patron Saint is St Monica who we emulate as our role model. She was a woman of faith, prayerful,kind,humble and very determined

Membership

The group accommodates members between the age of 18 years and above married, widows and Singles.

Growth and Activities

The group participates in events such as:
• Charity Work
• Team Buildings through Sports
• End of year parties
• Annual General meeting

c) Development

As CWA in 2024 we have managed to build Blessed Virgin Mary Grotto at the parish accessible to all our Christians.
